Sales Executive (Toronto)

Overview: 

Continued growth at B Sharp has created the demand for an energetic Sales Executive who will identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients. An important member of the B Sharp family, the Sales Executive will influence development and marketing decisions by providing valuable insights into the needs and expectations of our clients.  If you are interested in an exciting opportunity in Healthcare IT sales that rewards performance with attractive incentive plans, this may be the right position for you!

 

The successful candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and can be described as a “hunter” who has a flair for initiating conversations and accessing industry decision-makers and influencers. He/she has a history of taking ownership and completing tasks with high performance and initiative.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Sales

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Identify and quality opportunities to sell B Sharp’s products and services in existing and new accounts
  • Prepare quotes and proposals as required for qualified opportunities and provide an opportunity for timely review in accordance with B Sharp processes
  • Negotiate contracts and close opportunities, obtaining signoffs and approvals as specified by B Sharp processes
  • Monitor, evaluate and advise on identified Requests for Proposals on tendering websites
  • Engage senior decision-makers and influencers within B Sharp’s target healthcare industries by:
    • Building profile & communications for B Care Solutions
    • Developing & executing introductory meetings and presentations 
    • Assisting in product demonstrations & trade shows 
    • Maintaining relationships with key decision makers & frontline stakeholders

 

Planning and Reporting

  • Prepare for, attend and actively participate in scheduled sales meetings.   Information regarding all opportunities shall be current and up to date in the company specified CRM tool  at the time of the sales meeting
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of a current account plan for major accounts that details their business and IT objectives and their key relationships, B Sharp’s current business with the client, and plans to grow the business within the account 
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline of business opportunities
  • Document all encounters (e-mail, phone, face-to-face, etc.) with existing and potential clients in accordance with B Sharp processes using the company specified CRM tool
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from clients.

 

Skills / Qualifications: 
University degree, preferably in business, commerce, or health sciences
Previous experience selling health IT solutions to Canadian healthcare organizations
Exceptional organizational and English language writing and verbal communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong existing executive network in the health care agencies across Canada
Previous experience working with a CRM system
Ability to travel
